John Grey ukulele banjo. A 1930s John Grey ukulele banjo, somewhat grander than the standard model. It has a pearloid fretboard, drum and resonator. All the metal components were gold plated and a certain amount of this remains. It may be a special edition as there is evidence of a painted label on the peghead. Sadly this has all but been removed. There are two small pieces of pearloid missing from the fretboard, but all in all a lovely instrument that is ready to play. |
