BLACKPOOL
2003-2005
Andy's first season at the
Winter Gardens Pavilion, Blackpool was in Those
Were The Days for the
summer of 2003. The show was produced by Duggie
Chapman and starred comedian Stu Francis of Crackerjack
fame. Also on the bill were piano entertainer
Mike Terry, vocalist Beryl Johnson and song/dance
duo Castle and King. Andy's performance won him
the Blackpool's 'Best New Act 2003' award, and he
was immediately engaged for another season the
following year.
The 2004 show was We'll
Meet Again, staged to
commemorate the anniversary of D-Day. For this
show, Andy was honoured to be awarded the title 'Top
Solo Artist 2004' chosen from all the performers
at the major Blackpool venues including the world
famous Tower Circus and the Opera House.
We'll Meet Again
was so successful with the Blackpool
holidaymakers that it returned for another 16-week
season in the summer of 2005.
