| The 225 model was
made by the famous Weymann Banjo Company who made
some very high quality instruments during the height
of the jazz banjo era. There are a few Weymann 225s
still around but this one with the fancy peghead
inlays was made in small numbers and is quite rare. Obviously the instrument shows some dings and dents and some plating wear on the tension hoop, but nothing major. The fretboard is in excellent condition with no playing issues at all. |

The instrument is fitted with the famous patented Weymann neck brace with which the string action can be easily adjusted. It also has the Weymann quick removeable resonator with nice marquetry work on the back. The build quality is second to none which is why the instrument is still solid and tightly fitted together.
