The Two O'Clock Show In August 2006 Andy joined Paul Shane and a superb cast of variety artists for a season of matinee shows celebrating the Grand Theatre Blackpool's inaugural year as Britain's 'National Theatre of Variety'. Star of the show was Paul Shane, famous as a comedy actor for his roles in Hi De Hi, You Rang M'Lord, Oh Doctor Beeching and many other TV classics. But here he returned to his roots as a stand-up comic. |

Representing the new generation of
variety stars were virtuoso musician Andy Eastwood and
international illusionists Van Buren & Ally. This was Andy's fourth season in Blackpool, having starred in three summer shows at the Winter Gardens Pavilion. He has also often appeared at the Grand Theatre as guest star in the Ken Dodd Happiness Show. Van Buren has toured the world with his unique and spectacular magical stunts and his equally sensational specialities: juggling and plate-spinning. |

Also appearing in this fun-filled variety show were two fine singers: Blackpool's own first lady of song Beryl Johnson, and special guest from Ireland Martin Branigan. Guy & Pat Holloway showed why they are Britain's foremost marimba act and the fabulous Tiptoes Kids performed their expertly choreographed dance routines. Something for everyone! | |||||||||||||||
