Ron Spiers 'Supreme' banjo-uke, August 1986.
In great condition. I have sorted the action for Formby style playing, through adjusting the neck angle and height.
The plating has been polished back to a nice shine, as has the woodwork. The fretboard binding on the left was missing
a section at the bottom, which I have replaced. The fretboard itself has been cleaned and oiled. The frets have also
been polished. Comes with a newly fitted vellum and strings, with the original tuning pegs.
The Roger Bamford case (which is original to this instrument) is in good condition with working latches and an internal
pocket. I have re-glued the red velvet lining as it was coming apart when I received it, but overall it houses the instrument
nice and snugly.
This is a very high quality instrument that is comfortable to play, light and produces a nice bright, loud sound.
