| Janet Beale is a
versatile and experienced multi-instrumentalist.
Her specialities are the piano and piano-accordion,
which she studied at the Royal Academy of Music,
but she also plays sax and flute amongst other
instruments! Janet
has worked as a cabaret entertainer on all the
major cruise lines and is also in demand as an
accompanist for all types of occasion and
repertoire. Her performances include radio and TV
broadcasts as well as many impressive theatrical
credits.
Janet
met Andy Eastwood through an orchestral
engagement and discovered that her ukulele-playing
friend and colleague of several years, Lynda
Styne, was also a friend of his. It was soon
decided to co-opt Andy into the fledgling Red Hot
& Blonde project, and a successful
collaboration ensued.
Like
the other members of the group, Janet strives to
balance her Red Hot & Blonde and her solo
commitments within a heavy schedule of
performances both nationwide and abroad.
