sweep's assistant from Slagdyke, Lancashire dreams of
being a TT rider and builds his own motorbike. After many
thrills and spills, hilarious slapstick and catchy comedy
songs, he is leading the race and within sight of the
finsihing line. But his bike has been sabotaged by a
rival - will he make it? This was Formby's first film for Ealing and co-stars the great Florence Desmond. Musical numbers include: Riding In The TT Races, Riding Around On A Rainbow, I'm Walking Your Way and In A Little Wigan Garden. Shot on location in the Isle of Man, and still considered a legendary part of the Island's history to this day. A must for all Formby fans. B/W - 79mins.
