Slingerland 'May Bell' ukulele-banjo SOLD!

May Bell 1920s banjo-uke, made by Slingerland. This 90+ years old instrument is all original.
It has original metal parts with 16 tension rods, all in excellent condition.
It comes 'as is' with its vintage skin and original vintage tuning pegs, all in good order.
Set up ready to play, and comes with its vintage key to tighten the vellum.
Original hard case also included. Visually the case is in good condition,
however the stitching all around it needs attention, therefore I am including a padded gig bag.
These instruments were made with open backs and play well like this.
However, today many players wish to have a flat resonator fitted.
I am including a flat resonator, which is a perfect fit for the instrument, complete with screws and spacers. All easy to fit. Also included are a new set of Galli strings and a new set of Aquila strings, also a new 12" calf vellum.
Here is a rare instrument to suit those uke players who desire a quality, vintage ukulele-banjo from the great jazz era to play and treasure in your collection, all for £375.
If requested, I will fit the new skin for you and the flat resonator for an additional £30, including set up.
It comes with my guarantee: it may be returned within 2 weeks for a refund if found unsuitable.
