Martin style 1 concert ukulele An original 1940s vintage mahogany Martin style 1 concert uke, with bar frets and violin-stlye pegs, dating it to 1943/45.
Only about 400 style 1 concerts were made by Martin between 1943 and '45, the period when wooden tuning pegs were used due to supply issues with metal parts in wartime. Great sound, vibrant and loud, and of course, wonderful Martin playability. The only issues are a repair to the left of the soundhole and some wear on the bridge slots. Modern case included, which is a great fit.
