Ludwig Pyralin 1929 ukulele-banjo

The very rare and collectible 1929/30 standard model Ludwig banjo-uke, with pyralin peghead.
Complete with lovely original Ludwig case and tensioning key.
It's really a beautiful instrument but doesn't get used and belongs with a collector. I can't justify it sitting in its case!
Absolutely perfect for Formby style. The condition is very good, and it has had sympathetic restoration only.

Ludwig ukulele banjo - in case

A few imperfections to note: a repaired chip on the back and re-finish (sympathetic, not high gloss).
Holes filled on the back of the peghead - someone has obviously swapped the pegs at some time.
It now has excellent 'Planet' geared pegs.
Small, stable crack on edge of resonator, which is totally solid.
