This deluxe gold plated 'crown' Ludwig was purchased new by my great Aunt in Los Angeles in the 1920s.
She and her husband were active musicians in that wonderful era of music.
I also inherited a Gibson mandolin and 20s Martin uke, but I play those and don't want to sell at this point!
I don't think the Ludwig has been played very much, as it has hardly any wear,
and was kept in its case until I received it in the late 1970s.
I have done nothing to it other than a new skin, which was fitted by Gryphon Music in Palo Alto, CA
around 2008.
This is a rare chance to own what is considered by many as the finest model of banjo-uke ever produced.
