Ludwig deluxe gold-plated banjo-uke dating c. 1927/28. Commonly called a 'crown' model due to the shape of the flange holes,
this is the top of the range and considered by many the finest ukulele-banjo ever produced.
Complete with case, in original condition.
Cleaned and polished, set up with a new vellum and strings; 3/8" bridge. Perfectly playable as is,

Note the chip on the back of the peghead, missing heel cap and repaired lip on the resonator.
I replaced a mismatched tuning peg with an original gold plated 'Planet' tuner, same era and a perfect match.
Also note the beautiful flamed walnut on the resonator back, the loveliest I’ve ever seen on a Ludwig.
