Often referred to by collectors as a UB2 'deluxe' to distinguish it from the much more common plainer examples, this rare incarnation of the flat-backed Gibson banjo-uke, with sunburst finish and fleur-de-lis peghead inlay, was originally described as a 'UB3' in the catalogue. However Gibson quickly re-designated that model number to the large-resonator version, leading to much subequent confusion!

My sister in law will be attending the GFS in
Blackpool on 14th March and can bring it with
her if anyone wishes to view it there.
