Hi and welcome to the sale of my much loved big Gibson UB-3. I think it was made in the 30s. It is very similar to the Gibson the great George Formby played in his last TV apperance on The Friday Show.

This Gibson is in absolutely fantastic condition. It has been my favorite instrument now for the last three years. The only reason I am selling it is because I now have a Ludwig and can't really afford to keep the pair of them!

It has three dots on the fingerboard, big resonator and the diamond-holed flange. The flange and the nickle plating are fantastic, no cracks, chips or dings. It has Grover pegs.

These Gibsons are getting harder and harder to find. I have seen several but I have not seen any in this condition.

It comes with with its original case which is also in good condition.
