| Truly excellent
1920s 'The Gibson' UB2 in rare blonde finish, with
original case. This is possibly the best example of a UB2 I've played. Strong sound, perfect playability. Fresh set-up with GFS vellum and Mike Warren's Lightning Red strings. All original except the nut. Frets and fretboard all good. One screw to hold the back plate won't stay in, but this doesn't matter to the playability nor sound. (I do have the screw and metal ring and they will be included in the sale). I believe this is the first incarnation of the UB2 and it's very well built. |
