1930s
Gibson UB2 ukulele-banjo SOLD! This instrument is quite different from
most UB2s that you will come across, as it was made in
the 1930s rather than in the late 1920s. As far as I know
all the hooks, nuts, shoes, tailpiece and tuners are
totally original and the instrument has not been
refinished. I have fitted a new vellum, strings and an
Eddie Uttley maple bridge with ebony tip. The flat back resonator also
has cream binding as well as white black white purfling
inlaid into the back. |

I bought this
instrument a year ago and haven't played it since I put
the new vellum on. There is absolutely nothing wrong with
this Gibson, it's a fantastic example, however those who
know me from the GFS may notice I tend to favour Abbott
style instruments. I now have two small children and want
a bigger house so I'd like to sell it on to someone who
will enjoy and play it! Comes with a modern plush lined case. |
