Throughout December 2007, Andy starred in Christmas Seaside Special at the Pier Pavilion, Cromer, alongside comedian Kev Duncan, singers Jennifer Henderson and Daniel Koek, and the Seaside Special Dancers. Cromer Pavilion is famous for being one of Britain's most successful traditional variety venues - its summer season shows attract visitors from all over the country. This Christmas version of the Seaside Special formula proved just as popular, playing to nearly 15,000 patrons over a three week season. |

Topping the bill was versatile comedian and impressionist Kev Duncan, who also doubled very ably as compere and won the audience over with his cheeky line of seasonal comedy. Andy Eastwood dazzled with his musical prowess on ukulele banjo, violin and guitar, and also led a charming routine with the local Dance Works children, before returning with the chorus to sing and dance in the lively and colourful production numbers. |

Singers Jennifer Henderson (grand-daughter of comedian Dickie Henderson) and Australian Daniel Koek sang everything from jazz to classical to pop, and were superbly supported by the team of singer/dancers and the Broadland Youth Choir. Two of the dancers, Natalie Peek and David Richardson, also showed their vocal talents singing a gospel medley as a quartet with the two lead vocalists. The slick production was devised and directed by Di Cooke, and the icing on the Christmas cake was musical director Nigel Hogg in the pit. |
