Monarch - Deep Spinner with Crown cut-outs This was made by Jack Abbott Snr in 1931. Very very rare, in excellent condition, sounds fantastic. This is not a copy, it's the real thing. Nickel plating is in excellent condition, and all wood in excellent condition. Has that distinctive Abbott 'chunky' sound. I know of only four or five of these anywhere in existence. The case is an old hard case, not original - I think its from a Ludwig or something similar but it does the job. I would prefer buyer to collect as this is an expensive instrument, but can send by Royal Mail or other courier if required. |
